The Bible IS True!
Network Lead Pastor | Ron Enget
I hope this message finds you well and filled with the joy of the Lord. Today, I want to share some thoughts from our recent sermon series, "Is the Bible Really True?" It's a question that resonates deeply in our hearts, especially in a world filled with skepticism and doubt. But let me assure you, the Bible is not just a book; it is the living, breathing Word of God.
One of the most compelling reasons we know the Bible is true is its divine inspiration. As 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us, "All Scripture is God-breathed." This means that the words we read are not merely human thoughts but are inspired by the Holy Spirit. Over 40 authors, across three continents and three languages, over 1,500 years, contributed to this divine symphony, all pointing to one central theme: redemption through Jesus Christ.
Another powerful testament to the Bible's truth is the fulfillment of prophecy. Consider the prophecies about Jesus, written hundreds of years before His birth, which came to pass with astonishing accuracy. This is not a coincidence; it is the divine orchestration of God's plan for humanity.
But perhaps the most personal and transformative evidence of the Bible's truth is its power to change lives. Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that the Word of God is "alive and active." It penetrates our hearts, judges our thoughts, and transforms our lives. I've seen it time and again—people encountering the Word and experiencing profound change, healing, and freedom.
As we continue this journey through the Scriptures, I encourage you to dive deeper into the Word. Let it speak to you, challenge you, and transform you. Remember, the Bible is not just a historical document; it is the living Word that brings life, hope, and salvation.
May you be blessed as you walk in the fullness of God's Word. Let's continue to seek Him with all our hearts, knowing that His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.
Blessings,
Pastor Ron
