I think it is no secret that Pastor Ed and Jean are my favorite mentors, pastors, and friends. It is wild to me that they continually have "divine appointments" sharing Jesus at Walmart, the grocery store, or even Taco John's. Let's be honest, if any place needs Jesus, it's Walmart and Taco John's. The more I heard their stories, the more I wanted those things to happen in my life. Since then, I have shared Jesus and prayed with people at the gas station, with police officers, with people in restaurants, with people in a muffler shop, and with people in many other places.
In Acts 8:26-39, Phillip evangelizes the Ethiopian official. Throughout the book of Acts, God uses ordinary men and women to fulfill "extraordinary" purposes. God doesn't need your qualifications — He needs your obedience! Be sensitive to those Holy Spirit nudges, and be willing to step out in faith — even when the mission seems small. You never know how one act of faith can change someone's eternity.
