Living a Faith-Filled Life

Living a Faith-Filled Life

Executive Pastor | Ed Langeliers

Hey everyone,

I hope you're doing well and feeling blessed. I wanted to share some thoughts from my recent sermon, where I talk about living a life full of faith. It's something that's been on my heart, and I believe it's key to experiencing the fullness of what God has for us.

First off, I want to say how much I love being with you all at church. It's such a joy to gather together and see how God is moving among us! Sometimes, I don't even know what I'm going to say until I'm up there, but I trust the Holy Spirit to guide me. It's a bit like the geese we saw outside the window at church - just going with the flow and trusting God to lead the way.

One of the big things we talked about is how faith is like the language of heaven. It's how we connect with God and bring His promises into our lives. Jesus said that if we believe, we can move mountains. That's huge! It's not about having everything figured out in our heads, but about trusting God with our hearts.

I shared a couple of stories from the Bible, like the centurion who believed Jesus could heal his servant just by speaking a word. That kind of faith is powerful, and it's available to all of us. We don't have to be perfect or have it all together. We just need to believe and let God do the rest.

We also talked about how faith comes from hearing the Word of God. It's important to spend time in the Bible, letting those promises sink in and become real to us. It's like planting seeds that grow into something amazing. And when we speak those promises out loud, we're partnering with God to see them come to life.

I know some of you might feel like your faith is small, but remember, even a tiny mustard seed of faith can move mountains. It's not about the size of your faith, but the size of God you believe in. So keep pressing in, keep trusting, and watch what God will do.

Lastly, I want to encourage you to get involved in the life of the church. Whether it's joining a small group, serving on a team, or just reaching out to someone in need, there's a place for you here. We're all on this journey together, and there's so much joy in walking it out with others.

Thanks for being part of our church family. I'm excited to see how God will continue to work in and through each one of you. Let's keep living that faith-filled life and bringing a little bit of heaven to earth.

Blessings,

Pastor Ed
